1. What we collect

• Listing data: the name, URL, tagline, logo, and category you submit for your listing.
• Contact email: collected at bid time for receipts, fraud follow-up, and listing disputes — not used for marketing without separate consent.
• Bid records: amount, currency, timestamp, and Razorpay order/payment identifiers for every bid, kept as an immutable ledger.
• Basic usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent) collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

2. What we don't collect

We never see or store your card number, UPI ID, or bank details. All payment credentials are entered directly into Razorpay's checkout and processed by Razorpay, not by BidSpot.

3. How we use it

• To display your listing and its ranking on the public leaderboard.
• To verify payments and prevent fraudulent or duplicate bids.
• To respond to support requests and follow up on payment or listing issues.
• To generate aggregate, non-identifying statistics (e.g. total volume bid, active bidder counts) shown publicly on the site.

4. Who we share it with

We share payment data with Razorpay (our payment processor) and database/hosting data with Supabase and Vercel (our infrastructure providers), only as needed to operate the service. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Data retention

Bid records are kept indefinitely as a financial ledger. You can request removal of a listing's public-facing content (name, tagline, logo) at any time by contacting us — the underlying paid-bid record is retained for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete listing content you submitted, by emailing us at the address below.
