Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 13 September 2026
1. No refunds for being outbid
If another listing places a higher bid and your listing moves down in rank, that is the intended mechanic of the leaderboard, not a service failure — no refund applies.
2. When a refund does apply
- Duplicate or accidental charge: if Razorpay confirms two payments were captured for the same bid submission, the duplicate is refunded in full.
- Listing rejected after payment: if we reject your listing for violating our Terms of Service after your bid was already paid, you'll receive a full refund of that bid.
- Failed or unconfirmed payment: if Razorpay reports a payment as failed but you were still charged, contact us with your payment ID for a refund.
3. How to request a refund
Email support@bidspot.in with your Razorpay payment ID (from your receipt email) and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
4. Refund timeline
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay. Depending on your bank or card issuer, funds typically appear within 5–7 business days of approval.
5. Cancellations
Because a bid takes effect immediately on payment, there is no "pending" state to cancel — a submitted, paid bid is treated as final unless it falls under Section 2 above.
